Who we are
SWAES helps organisations across healthcare, corporate, hospitality, education and pharmaceutical settings understand what their water and energy systems are actually doing — not just what the bills say. We work as an extension of our clients' teams and their delivery partners, translating raw meter data and site observations into intelligence that facility managers, estates teams and sustainability leads can act on. Our engineers spend time on site as well as behind the data, because good monitoring depends on both: knowing how a building really behaves, and knowing how to read what the numbers are telling you. That combination — technical grounding plus clear reporting — is what our clients come back for.
SWAES began in 2021 as a specialist sole-trader consultancy, founded to challenge traditional approaches to water and energy management. Our work expanded through major healthcare programmes from 2023, and Sustainable Water and Energy Solutions Limited was incorporated in 2024. What began with one specialist has since grown into a developing business supported by a wider team of monitoring, engineering and operational expertise. Today, we work alongside clients and delivery partners across the UK and EMEA, building long-term relationships that combine monitoring, reporting and intelligence through SWAES MRIâ„¢. As portfolios and needs grow, our role develops from initial visibility and investigation into ongoing strategic support, deeper insight and coordinated improvement.
